First paragliding club in Iasi

A new paragliding club is born in Romania: Pelicanii (pelicanii means pelicans). There are several years since free flying started in Iasi, it was time to finally have a club of our own. More than 20 pilots have gathered last week in town to celebrate this event.

We have good news for people interested in starting paragliding: Toma Coconea has agreed to teach any student pilot flying lessons.

Last weekend we had a special guest at Popricani flying place near Iasi: Toma Coconea (Tomi) the X-Alps man. More than 15 people gathered on the hill on Saturday in spite of chilly weather :)and Tomi generously offered several tandem flights for all interested people !
